Unapologetic TSC Replaces All 742 Sacked JSS Interns. It has caught the attention of the public domain that the Teachers service commission has replaced the 742 sacked jss interns. The commission has moved with speed and replaced the teachers even without the teachers undergoing a fair trial.
For instance, jss teachers from Asome Pioneer school in Kisii have been directed to stay away from school. This comes amid reports of the teachers being replaced. The replacement has been hurriedly done by the Teachers service commission.
This has happened barely two weeks after the leadership of jss teachers opted to call off the strike. The leadership had given TSC an ultimatum of one month to confirm the intern teachers into permanent and pensionable terms . Consequently, failure to confirm them would make them call for another strike.

An interviewed was aired on Citizen TV where the affected teachers aired their plights. The teachers were based from South Mugirango and Bomachoge Chache in Kisii county. The teachers highlighted the hardships they undergo as interns during this harsh social economic times.
For instance, a 33 year old female teachers is distraught. She had been barred from returning back to school. She hails from Bomachoge Chache. As a pioneer JSS teacher she explains on how life in junior school has been quite challenging.

The teachers is believed to have taken part in the industrial action. However, records indicate she attended retooling exercise conducted by TSC. However, despite all that, she was instructed by her headteacher not to report back to her school.
The single mother female teachers has expressed how life has been challenging. She has been thrown from a frying pan into direct fire. Additionally, she wonders how she will take care of her child amid the struggles she is undergoing through.
The KUPPET leadership in Kisii county has expressed it’s displeasure on how TSC has handled the jss teachers. The decision to dismiss teachers has not been welcomed by TSC. In addition, the union affirms that if the commission continues in this manner, CBC is bound to fail.
The union now demands immediate reinstatement of the dismissed teachers. The Kisii TSC director confirmed the issues are being addressed from the main office in Nairobi.
