List Of TSC Job Groups Locked Out Of July Salary Increment. The first phase of TSC salary pay rise for teachers was implemented. Teachers are now anticipating for the upcoming July salary increment. However, not all teachers are set to benefit from this move. Some are set to go home empty handed.
Several teachers across various job groups are set to smile to the bank. They are set to cash in on the pay rise, courtesy of the latest signed collective bargaining agreement.
The Teachers service commission together with the Kenya national union of teachers signed the first CBA. It has since been implemented fully and teachers have received their pay increments.
However, some other unions were also involved in signing of the CBA. They include;
- Kenya union of post primary Education teachers (KUPPET)
- Kenya union of special needs education teachers (KUSNET)
A new salary review was conducted. Thereafter, some job groups were left out of the pay rise and did not receive any increments. Among the job groups that were locked out in the pay rise were C4,C5, D4 and D5.
Teachers under Grade C4 and C5 salaries remained unchanged at sh sh52, 308 and sh62, 272 respectively .
Those under job grade D4 and D5 salaries remained unchanged at sh114, 242 and sh131, 380 respectively.
TSC SAALARY PAY RISE PER JOB GROUP
Under the phase 1 salary increment, which is still ongoing, grade D1 became winners. They managed to get an increment of ksh. 785 on top of their salaries.
Grade B5 will get a salary rise of ksh. 2074 on their salaries. Their salary range is between sh 21,756 and sh 23, 830.
Teachers under job grade C1 will get a salary pay rise of sh 2592 to their salaries. This will see their earning skyrocket from sh 27,195 to sh 29,797.
In addition to that, job group C2 will also get a pay rise. They will get an increment of sh 3331 on top of their salaries. This will make them pocket sh 38,286 up from the current ksh. 34,995.
On the other hand, grade D1 will get a rise of sh 785. Their earns will improve from the current sh 77,840 to sh 78,625
D2 TSC teachers will get a payrise of sh 1455. Their earnings will move from ksh 91,041 to ksh 92,496.
Additionally, D3 teachers will get an increment of sh 1399 making their earnings rise from sh 104,644 to sh 106,043.
Finally, the C3 teachers earning a minimum wage of sh 43, 154 will now pocket a minimum of sh 45,671.
